Area Activities

Located in the heart of Chequamegon National Forest, the Drummond area offers lots of fun outdoor activities for families to enjoy: fishing, hunting, boating, kayaking, canoeing, camping, hiking, biking, swimming, ATVs and more. The national forest has many beautiful lakes, streams and trails—all available to the public!

Be sure to check out the Historical Museum and Visitors Center at the Drummond Library when you are here—lots of area information is available!

You can rent boats and kayaks, arrange a river trip, and buy fishing & outdoor supplies, firewood and more at Bear Country Convenience Store & Gas Station—which also has an ATM.

The Oaks, a non-denominational house of worship at the southwest corner of Drummond on Hwy 63, offers Sunday services.

For more information about the area, visit the Bayfield County and Town of Drummond websites. The “Go Wild” website has information about Wisconsin recreational licenses and registrations.
